Zara Britain

Zara Britain is a 21 year old singer and double bassist reimagining today’s music through a jazz lens. Originally from Guildford and with training from the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama in Cardiff, Zara is known for vintage inspired jazz covers enriched by her distinctive double bass sound.With smooth, expressive vocals and a natural stage presence, she often pairs her voice with double bass to create a sound that feels both timeless and original.

Performing

Zara has performed at a range of standout venues and events, including a special guest appearance with Postmodern Jukebox, corporate events for leading brands such as Adidas and Sky Sports, and a featured performance at The Ned in London for BBC Radio 1 presenter Jodie Bryant’s New Music Monday. She is also a sought after performer for exclusive private events, high end venues, and weddings.

Original Music and Releases

Her debut single 'By Any Chance' released in January 2025, marking her as an exciting new voice in the jazz pop scene. Zara is currently working on new music, with future releases on the way.
